The climate can make a big difference on performing different work tasks,,,that’s why I’m gonna be shooting for a climate controlled garage/workshop that will keep it in a mediocre temp zone...like 60-80 or 65-75

I don't wear long johns until it's about zero, and I have to work outside.

Had a foreman that kept telling us. The heat is in the tool. The more you work, the warmer you stay. :rofl2:

I should get a quote for finishing the garage but I really dont want to pay out the money for it. Not sure I would use it enough to justify the costs, probably just end up making it a nice place for mice to live. :icon17:

You’re more weather acclimated; I’m just cold natured...if temp drops in the 40’s & doesn’t get 60...union suits going on :wtf2:

You can always use a warm garage. Trust me.

This is for my personal use & gotta be comfy.
We’re spoiled at work with some badazz gas heaters; mounted about 16’ high & angled downward/ they will roast you if dialed up :eek:
We currently have 3 or 4 out of 12 inop & still plenty of warmth....just those roadcalls & unknown working conditions that they’re good for :ugh2:

jchammond 01-11-2019 04:07 AM

Madwi seen me layer up :ugh2: and then he’s outside in the snow without socks on :wtf2::icon17:

When I worked for Elliott. I had to work outside at times. Nothing like working outside in Maine or ND in the Jan and Feb. :shakes head: Had to dug tunnels in the snow to get to the equipment to work on it.

These are the real-deal...not overly bulky & very comfy.
I just don’t trust the trap door/ I’d rather button down :wtf2:
