I sold some of my cars this year. This went quite well.

So running the numbers with investments looks like I can retire.

Talked to owner of company today who offered a boat load of money for 2 year contract.

I have decided to call it a day.June 1st will be my last.

I have 67 big block Corvette convertible (matching numbers)that came out of a tree row 15 years ago that I have been saving for retirement project.

I'm divorced and girlfriend gives me space to work on cars.

I'm ready for a break after 40 years of working for someone else.

Glad retirement is coming soon.Four calls to deal with work problems today.
I'm packing to travel on Sunday for work.
I made the correct decision.

Hour job turned into 5 hours. Removed the old pads and rotors on the PowerWagon. Took the rotors to get turned. That was over an hours. Rick just wanted to BS the whole time he was cutting my rotors. :shakes head: Come home and get ready to install the rotors. Took my air hose and blew the junk out from the rotors and around the e-brake shoes. Ended up blowing the brake material off of the metal shoe. The bonding that holds the material to the shoe had released. :shakes head: Now have to go to NAPA and get new e-brakes. :shakes head: Come home and start to put things back together. Left side first. E-brake shoes on. That was a bitch. Rotor on, new pads in place. Push the 2 pistons back in the caliper. Heard a pop on the right side. Had pushed a piston out on the right side caliper. Go to install the left caliper. Come to find out that the slides are sticking. So...I fixed them. Left side finished.

Start on the right side. Fixed the slides first. Install the e-brake shoes. Manage to push the popped out piston back in the caliper with no trouble. Dodged a bullet on that. Finish this side.

Next time for rear brakes. I'll need new rotors, and all the hardware.

I normally use a old pad and C clamp to hold the pistons in place.

It doesn't work on mine. I have an '08. To adjust the e-brakes shoes. Have to use a spoon. To adjust the cable. 2, 13mm wrenches.
