You get caught in places where diesel prices are through the roof or getting your rig into a station is quite challenging. These external tanks fix that problem. I need one myself. I will tow to Maryland and if I have any issues I will install one in my truck when I get home. The one that Hotrodz has is the best unit. I have a friend that hauls RDS tanks, they have ones that come back due to whatever reason and he can get me one for cheap. It is not as good as a Transflow though.

I know that feeling. Trying pulling into a station with a 41ft motorhome flat towing a Grand Cherokee. You can't back up. You have to unhook the Jeep to do it. Diesel prices around the country is all over the place. The motorhome has a 100 gal tank. Try paying for that a couple of times on a trip. When traveling with the motorhome. I try to fill up at truck stops. Flying J, Loves, or Pilot. Pilot and Flying J are set up for RV's. I can dump my grey and black tanks there.

I get better fuel mileage with my gooseneck LQ horse trailer compared to the new car hauler. The wind resistance kills my fuel mileage. I am kicking myself for getting a bumper pull and not a gooseneck trailer. They however are way more expensive. If I start
towing my car more I will consider something else.

Couldn’t you fabricate a wedge of some sort in the front to help with wind resistance?

It is a V nose. I will see how it does going to Maryland. I may need to add some timing back into my truck to help
with fuel mileage.

I got $500 sitting here for the "old" trailer when you decide to upgrade. :tiphat:
