Flight booked to Milwaukee for Thursday morning. They are picking me up at the airport about noon. Since it's a cash transaction, I should be on my way home in a couple of hours....:tup::driving::driving::driving:

I just want this damn gastritis to go away so I feel well enough to even want to drive my car. Plus, I still need to get it in for re-tune.

I feel that. It was 110 in buttonwillow on Saturday. Then Sunday when i was back home it was 70 all day. It made me almost feel sick after such a dramatic temperature difference.

Those 40 degree temperature swings are not uncommon in Texas. It will be 80F on the drive to work and by the end of the day you need a winter coat to walk to the car :ugh:

I'm not ready for that.....

As someone who can barely handle anything above 85. When its that hot and then switches that much in temperature i usually get sick the next few days. 10/10 would not recommend.

When I used to work for the Game and Fish Dept I would often have to call for search and rescue when working on one of the sky islands in southern AZ. During the monsoon season people would come to the mountain top to hike and recreate and the temps would be in the 90s and then a storm would move in and it would rain, hail, snow or any combination there of. Temperatures would drop by 30 or more degrees in 10 to 15 minutes. Yeah, people would be caught out in the weather in tank tops and shorts. Bad juju when that happens!
