HAHA, that 2x4 one is mine.
 Still going strong after 7 years. Super stable and the load is just off center of solid wood to the ground. Only thing you have to be careful of is not driving over the stops. I'd take the wood over the plastic stuff any day. My wheels are like the ramp, they don't look like new any more.
