offered voluntary OT this week. i turned it down told my boss i make more at home than i would here doing 5 hours of OT.

anyways, this older bitch who sucks, is lazy, and probably retarded, stays to do 2 hours. i see not 1 task completed and for an hour of it i was here she was just on her phone talking.

just annoying. i'd love to punch her in mouth but she's old. the woman part i can get around with the blatant disregard for human decency in a work environment :ugh2:

This is dangerously close to actually talking about Z cars, but Rusty/Spooler/Hotrodz etc, do any of you have advice on where I should start with reading up on suspension components? Right now this is probably the area of the Z which I understand least; and given that we've now had 2 posts recently (Cupcakez and Shadow) where users with FI managed to nearly kill themselves thanks to poor suspension setups/lack of ability, I figure before I go FI I'd better have this down ;)

I've started reading through the appropriate section of the forum, but a lot of the good data seems to be buried. I figured you guys might have a couple good keywords to search.

I'd never have phrased it this way, but I too work with an older woman who really is not capable of doing her job and actually makes my work load more difficult on a fairly regular basis.

Yesterday, she showed up at my desk with a post-it note referencing 2 of our QMS documents and, in her typical vapid intellectually stunted way, explained she couldn't remember what she had discussed with her supervisor but that these "items need to be closed out". Literally all the description I was able to get from her. Eventually, through extensive cross examination, I was able to determine that she was referring to me closing out action items on her list.

Which is a list of things she is supposed to do, and close out when she is done.

Which means I am not supposed to be the one closing them.

30 minutes of my time, lost forever.

yea im in the same boat.

literally the simplest of daily tasks that should be instinct at this point confuses her when it's verbally mentioned in a meeting etc..

yet......she tells people that she does everything in this group. :shakes head:

im not a snitch but i kinda want to just burn this bitch to get rid of her. it would make work 100x easier.

Fortunately, her manager is aware of her difficulties, and we're preparing to transition her to a more suitable role - answering phones and making coffee.

I will not be drinking the coffee she makes, but otherwise I find this acceptable. Right now, I even have to write some of her emails for her.

Guys, it doesn't have to be a woman that does such. I'll just leave it at that.

There is a reason people should retire... if for no other reason than to make work easier for their co-workers...:bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

I get why people work longer, they are still in debt on their houses that they refi'd 10 times, paid for their children to go to college and get basketweaving degrees and didn't understand that they needed to save for retirement and have no money at all....:inoutroflpuke::inoutroflpuke:

But.... there comes a time when the brain no longer understands complex tasks and most companies no longer have the luxury of waiting 3 or 4 days while the mentally challenged figure out what's required....:stirthepot::stirthepot:

oh well aware. i actually had a previous coworker fired who was man due to just stupidity and the lack of ability to preform basic tasks/commands on a computer.

this specific instance happens to be a woman. my comment was mostly on her age followed by a joke about the want to beat a woman. keep up :bowrofl:

They are buried. I can't remember how I found them. There area some good ones in the Track section from what I remember. Keep reading. Those 2 guys had an ability issue. You don't smash on the throttle in a boosted car. You drive it like you have an egg under the go pedal. Shadow needs to be on a chassis dyno. That's why they made them so the cars could be tested and tuned on it and not on the street. Much safer that way.

This saying is very true but not all the time. "It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks". Especially when they know it all. Just ask them.
