It's was a great day. Wifey and me took the Z out. Went to the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival in West Newton. Great place for the Glothes. :rofl2: Seen a couple of Furries there too. From there, we ate Mexican at our favorite place. El Patron's. :yum: Good food, good drinks, great prices. Then we went to the movies. Seen Mile 22. Good action flick. The way it ended. Think maybe there is a sequel in the works.

We have a bunch of them here now. Ever since they started drilling for Marcellus natural gas. When they started to drill. Everyone in the drilling industry showed up. That's how I met wifey #2. She was the office manager for a gas drilling company. She transferred out here from Colorado.

We even has great Japanese steakhouses too.

Like Rusty, I had a great Saturday. Washed the Z, then we drove to San Diego to one of the Casinos for their lobster buffet - with the top down. Was a little peeved because the 1.5 hr drive ended up taking over 2 hrs because of road construction and socal traffic :driving:, and the gf was getting hangry..lol But it was worth it. I won 800 bucks. That should pay for a Tune and alignment. :happydance:

Morning all! Home safe and sound - got in around 10 pm last night (2 am as far as my system was concerned!)

Attached a couple photos from the trip. Truly an amazing experience. If any of you decide to take the trek out to Iceland, hit me up. I have some experiential wisdom to share ;)

It was seriously unreal. I took close to 1k pictures. The scenery is stunning. Probably the strangest landscape I've ever seen, consistently.

Like waking up in a fantasy every day I bet. When I first got to Germany, it was like opening up a history book. Cobble stone roads, the architecture, small forests...

Yup I felt the same way about Switzerland. This was not like that - I described it at first as 75% Mordor from Lord of the Rings, and the remaining 25% the most beautiful place I've seen. That's pretty accurate. Volcanic craters, lava flows covering miles, few enough trees that groups of them really stand out - and hundreds of waterfalls, enormous mountains, glaciers, rift valleys, etc. Craziness.
