Detailers won't touch my truck. Too much dirt and dried mud on it.

Was contemplating on driving with the top down this morning mainly because it was still a little dark outside, overcast/marine layer and I didnt want to look like a douche. But it was probably mid 60's so down goes the top. Hop on the fwy, and right away I see two other cars with their tops down as well. We all mustve been going to the douche convention..lol

lol.. I have a Honda passport and the gf has a Ford Focus. We always take the Z no matter what. Went to Costco last night, trying to fit 2x 2.5 gallon jugs of water, a 12 pack of 1 liter alkaline water and the rest of the stuff we bought into the trunk was like trying to play tetris. lol

That's what it's like when we pack to go to ZDayZ. My wife tries to take everything. I tell her that if you pack it in a bag and it don't fit. It gets left behind in that bag. So now she is learning to pack light.

Yeah, when we go to Arizona, I take a gym bag and she takes a small backpack and trunk is already half full. I swear, its hard getting in and out, no storage space, now that its a bit lowered i have to be careful of scraping, fuel economy isnt great, but I tell myself that its a practical car!

Oh bunk, quick question for ye. I head down south, (LA area, specifically city of industry / Arcadia) to pickup the Z this weekend. Are you in that area or further south?

bunk 08-23-2018 04:03 PM

Im at the 405/605 junction, so west of there. Lots of shops in Industry. My buddys brother used to run a drifting shop there.
