Punctured one of my new tires. Pain in the butt, nail right between the treads, looks like from an air nailer judging from the cross hatching on the shank. Not fun.

Are you going to fix or replace ?
Personally I would use one of those patch / plug things, had to use them twice over the years ( not on the Z ) with great results !

Fix, definitely. I actually tried using a plug kit last night, and let's just say it didn't go smoothly, but I had limited time. Tonight I'll give it another shot.

Just seen a video lately about the car. It's got some serious issues. See if I can find the video later.

Jake has been good. The time he gets up is the same time I would get up when l was working at the power plant. I changed, he hasn't. :rofl2:. Mia, on the other hand. We just got her about a month ago from spooler's wife. She's a work in progress. :shakes head:

I carry a plug kit on my Power Wagon. I've used it a number of times. The one hole. I put 4 plugs in it to get out of the woods. :rofl2:

If it's a small hole. It might be best if you take a drill though the hole to clean it out. Sometimes pushing a plug through the steel belts is tough and won't seal.

Awesome! It must have been their day to return phone call and messages. I got a text from Tony, he is tiered of storing my car for the summer lol and wants Seb to come get it. So I am waiting for Seb to get back to me now. I fill like a ping pong ball.

Tony also said he is selling his GTR for $75k if anyone is interested. I believe it is a 2010 that is nicely modified with lots of carbon fiber. I know he has done over 175 in half mile with her.

One of my dream cars.

onzedge 08-10-2018 09:55 AM

While riding the shuttle bus from the Rental Car Center to the terminal at OMA today I overheard a conversation between two twenty-something women. One of them used the work "like" 7 times in a single sentence.

Here is a hint: use of the word "like" should be limited to two conditions:

1. Expressing an affinity for something... For example -- "I like the way you wear those yoga pants even though your are at the airport".

2. Employing a simile... For example -- "This bologna sandwich is exactly like the ones we ate every day in prison".

I am here to help.
