I've heard of several Z guys tracking with Federal tires in the last week. Before that I had never heard of anyone using Federal tires on a Z. But they are incredibly cheap, so I guess the price is right for some. The RS-RR tires have been on sale recently - they were less than half the price of my Michelin street tires.

Think my next set of tires might be Cup 2 tires. They make my sizes. 285/35-19 and 345/30-19. :driving:

some of these horror story threads on the GTR forum are good reads.

I have heard about the stories and that stuff is what it is with people with too much money when things don't go well. That being said has nothing to do with Sarif's ability to drive and setup a track or canyon carving machine. He can drive the **** out of a GTR and he knows a lot about the car regardless of his business ventures and the drama that surrounds him. I was just passing on the perspective of someone that has tons of experience with the tire on and off the track. Take for what it is worth!

if i was running a 10/12 setup on the GTR i would probably be going 285/345 as well lol

all the meats :yum:

big thing with the GTR i've found is keeping the diameter as close to stock as possible. the AWD/Diffs will just go if you change it too much.

thought they cannot be legal if real for a few more yearsl? lol

only way to get a "legal" R34 is bring it in as parts and reassemble.

Another 200 TW tire getting a lot of attention is Nexen. There more and more decent tires out there at various price points to match one commitment to the track or street.

Dang, I forgot that requirement! I am in the unlimited category for the Nissan Challenge and modified rear wheel for GTA so I'm good to go with size and a 100 TW limit.

The AWD throws an extra monkey wrench in the mix.
