Yeah and time to tie up all of July's loose ends. I wonder how hard it would be to take time off around Christmas/New year's....

This new 2nd Valet job is solely gonna make money for the Z once i use it to pay what little i owe on my CC.

Gonna save up for a Diff, Better coils, and small things along with the bi-weeky 100$ i throw at my savings

Night shift is great. Not a lot of people around, management is usually on dayshift. Come in, do your work and go home, not a whole lot of the BS.

Eh, disagree. I prefer being able to do things with friends and stuff, this shift (thankfully temporary) doesn't enable me to do that.

Plus, it royally ***** with my body messing up my sleep cycle (which is **** already).

Plus, I'm just IT help desk, so my evening will consist of watching Netflix and finding things to do on the interwebs.

To save even faster, what I used to do (and still do) is at the end of the day every day, put all your one dollar bills and loose change away in a box. Youll have to have larger bills like 10's and 20's at all times, but you wont even notice that your "missing" those one dollar bills. After a while, I moved up to 1s 5 dollar bills. This is all I did and saved up for a DJI Phantom quad in just a few months. This on top of your real savings and youll have more parts than time to install them..hehe:happydance:

yeah, if you have an active social life during the week, it kinda kills it. For me, I have always been a night person. As far back as I can remember I would be up until 3 every night playing with GI Joes or Hotwheels cars. Then be tired as all hell during school cause I just wanted to sleep. :icon17:

I worked the night shift at a help desk when I was going to school. Got off work at 7am, first class at 8 go home at noon, and start over again at 11pm. Man, 4am - 7am were the longest hours! At least I was able to get some sleep on that shift.

I loved working nightshift. At Elliott, it was from 11pm to 7am for 8 yrs straight. Worked out great. When my daughter had something going on in the morning. I would stay up and attend to it. Then go to bed. If she had something in the afternoon or evening. I would go to sleep soon as I got home. Then get up and go.

At the power plant. It was 6:30 to 6:30. One month of dayshift, one month of nightshift. with both jobs. No management was around. We got chit done! After we finished up our assignments. It was gov't job time. :D At Elliott. We made a couple of go karts. Potato guns. Etc. At the power plant. It was surf the net until you found the end of it. Wash your vehicle. Tune it up. Change brakes.
