Idk what the next sports car will be in my lineup. it'll require selling the Z. Just no space for 5 cars total. I love the Jaguar F-Type's, but only the high end models. Nissan will never release a predecessor to our car. Maybe a gt-350R?

I think you mean successor. They already released a predecessor to the 370Z. That would be the 350Z.

i kept my Z. the money i'd get wont replace the fun nor the bonus of havin that to keep the GTR miles lower.

the jags are sexy but to get any of the higher power models youre at 90k+ which sucks. other choices that are better for that money.....like a GTR lol

Who said anything about another kid?! :ugh:

For me, the next move is just forced induction. I have no plans to replace the Z any time soon. I love the appearance of it, like the way it handles, and anything I don't enjoy can be modded with a few minor exceptions. Cars are a terrible investment - they just depreciate :( Which is stupid. The longer I keep it, the better off I am.

that's true. I'll be lucky to get 14k for mine. Paid off at least and full bolts on done early.

Ok, so you weren't suggesting that :icon17:

My Z value is sitting around 9K according to most estimates. That's down from 13-14K with 90K miles just a year ago. That 100K mark is a killer on the value - immediate auction for dealers.

the one upside with the GTR is i got it at a good price and even higher mileage 09's are still pulling 50-55k

then again ive seen some private sales of some going for 40-45k

yea hence why i wont sell mine. i rather have the car vs a couple grand. the value is way to low for what it's actually worth.

kbb has my 09 with every package and option @72500 miles at 12-15k.......

the local nissan dealer just sent me a letter offering me 15,500 for it and kbb says trade is 11k. hmmm tempting lol

Yeah my comment definitely wasn't a shot at the choice of gt-r. The reality is we spend so much time in our vehicles, might as well drive something we like! Just personally speaking, I can't make myself part with that much cash when it's earning me interest instead.

$100 says they won't give you $15.5K for it.

oh i know just saying it's another reason i like the GTR is they decently hold some value after the initial 20k drop when it leaves the lot lol hence why i bought used. let some other dbag take that hit for me :bowrofl:
