BTW, my gf has that condition where loud noises like crunching or smacking irritates her to no end. When I got my CBE installed, I really thought she would hate it. She actually loves it - doesnt hurt that the Invidia is more on the "tame" side of cbe's. She was pretty indifferent to the car when I first got it.

my gf likes to throw my Z in my face... you know the whole... "you and that car"... "gotta keep that car clean" ..."spending money on that car that you hardly ever drive" (which is true):icon17:

There are few things more rewarding than that. Children know what cool cars really are :)

In his neighborhood, that is the signal to get ready to jack a fool at the stop sign. :icon17:

I turned and theres this big SUV with the windows rolled down. The mom sitting in the drivers seat kindly says "My son says he loves your car!". A 10 year old kid in the back seat with a big grin on his face flashing two thumbs up.

Another time I was pulling out of the parking lot of a 7-11 near Disney Land. A big group of what must have been 5th graders were walking across the parking lot on their way to Disney Land. I had the top down, and one of the kids as he was passing by said "Sweet car man!".

I swear, its either little kids, old ladies, or dudes. Hot chicks never seem to appreciate nice cars.. lol

On our way down to Zdayz we stopped at a gas station and a kid was taking pics with his phone. We let him sit in the Zs and rev the engine while EW took video on the kids phone. Little guy was so stoked and was one big smile.

Im sure he went straight home and did alot of googling for the 370z. I think we all remember a car that made a big impression on us as kids. For me and my brother it was the Testarossa and the Countach.

But I do enjoy my paycheck a lot more now!

The city of brothers on drugs. :rofl2: I've done work there. The Sunoco oil refineries there.

I used to work with guys who walked to work. Would you believe they was always late for work. :shakes head:

Good point. I think they liked the cut of my jib long before they cared about the car.

I always let people sit in my cars and take pictures.
Even with the 59 I do not freak out when a kid touches car.
I see people yell at kids for getting to close.
I grew up in a neighborhood where people built Hot Rods. They let me hang out when I was 10.
Made a difference in my life.
We do not really own cars;we are care takers.
Need to get the kids interested so they take care of them.
