Yeah, been there done that. Been cc debt free for a while now. The rewards card I use is like 24% interest or something outrageous so I make sure I can pay it off every month. I have a non-rewards card with much lower interest rate for emergencies and such.

Most of mine was from a wedding abroad. A buddy got married in Scotland and I spent 2 weeks in UK, Netherlands, and Ireland. No money to pay for it - just put it all on the credit card :shakes head:

ahhh dude... smart move... I have two, 1 is strictly locked away for emergencies, and the other, I use because I get cash back rewards for using it.. with a low fixed interest rate.. i love it.

Im coming up on $600 in cash rewards.. (for my future DJI drone)

The rewards on my Southwest card are awesome. I've already got like 25K points from booking airfare and just general spending since March this year. One way flights are anywhere from about 6000 points and up depending on the city and travel day (average one way is probably closer to 10-12K).
