That... sucks. I'd probably fire back with something smart like "your mom!" or "Have you checked the HR policies regarding hiring competency requirements?" but maybe that's just me. I guess your company might have a written procedure in place that says their IT staff is responsible for telling users how to turn on their PCs... it just seems a bit unlikely.

This morning's project is researching packaging standards, and taking a few of our parts in new boxes to drop them off of things. This is one of those days where my job pleases me. I'll let you know how well our custom foam packed boxes do after being flung from the 2nd story of our building!

Captains log 6/8/2018: Unfortunately, the packaging has proven robust and subject is undamaged, even after being repeatedly launched at high speeds from a 60" surface. Multiple impacts, even on a corner, were insufficient to cause harm. Will try again from greater height.

Prepare compression testing with the forklift...
