I get better gas mileage driving the Fit around town than on these high speed Texas highways. I put 512 miles (95% highway) on it yesterday and got 26.7 mpg on cruise control :shakes head:

It's rated for 28 city and 35 highway. Maybe at 55 mph it could get 35 mpg :rolleyes: :mad:

You should have photochopped that front license plate off.
I feel so lucky not to have one of those on the front of the car.
I am up to a whole 14892 mi on the Z after my wife and I went over to the Subaru dealershit to look at the Ascent.
Salesman for the nissan dealership came out and asked if I wanted to sell the car.

I said that until a few weeks back my front end was struck by a rock about the size of a golf ball bouncing around on the highway. It nailed my license plate - first time I've ever been thankful to have one installed :twocents:

I made them take $700 off the car when I purchased it because I originally stated I did not want anything drilled into the front bumper. I would manage the plate myself. They did it anyways and I renegotiated the deal. Figured $700 was enough for me to get it filled and repainted at a later date when the rock chips start to add up.
