Finished cleaning up the Z today. A ton of brake dust on the rims. Hit a giant bug with the front bumper yesterday on the way home. He was in technicolor, about 4" round, and left a small impression. Took awhile for me to remove his dead carcass from the bumper.

Madwi showed me the ways of using a pressure washer with a 40 degree tip at about 6 inches from the paint or glass while spraying in multiple directions.

Rusty has me scared now..... Not like I am holding the nozzle directly next to the paint and not moving the wand back and forth quickly.

For bug removal on front bumper or wind shield soak a piece of fabric sheet softener into water and wipe through the bugs splatter it melts like butter and safe with clear coats.

This is Pilots secret in cleaning bugs splatter on there airplanes.

I have a 2600 psi pressure washer. I never use it on a car.

I did, however, pressure wash my entire driveway and then resealed it over the weekend.

I need to get back on the road. This is my 4th week at home. Every night and all day each Saturday and Sunday finds me doing house stuff. Painting, cleaning, re-organizing, consolidating, building....

The pressure washer where I used to work at. 3,500 psi with steam. It would remove grease, bugs, dried mud, paint, stickers, emblems, dead critters, your skin. Ferd paint won't stand up to it. :rofl2: Our trucks been repainted a few times. :rofl2: When cleaning the work trucks. We wasn't allowed to use soap, or to wax them. Just to hose them off.
