Yup, that's what I did in mine. Had a huge old cast iron tub in there, also robins egg blue. That's gone, shower stall is in place, just need to find the right kind of tile.

Morning all - Lein, how's the beast running? Any word from Seb yet on your tune?

Car ran great for the most part! I need to inspect the exhaust and see if any bolts are loose. I couldn't tell if it was a rattle under the car or just my old pipes hitting a bar inside the hatch.

No updates or word FROM Seb yet sadly. The few times I tried to play with the throttle, the car hesitated deeply at 6k rpm and wouldn't go any higher. Gear shifts are stupidly smooth now and the clutch pedal is out of this world! The travel action is buttery smooth and I maybe have to press the clutch down a whole 2 inches to shift.

I'll be working on a block off plate for the oil cooler today. Temps barely got above 160F late last night due to it only being 55F out upon reaching home.

All in all. Very impressed and will only get better once Seb begins working with me. I owe those Michigan guys a lot!

Did you leave the heat shields on above the cats? They don't always play nice with aftermarket parts.

JARblue 05-14-2018 09:21 AM

Does Seb attend ZDayZ? He might just be busy getting ready for the upcoming week. He's usually on point in terms of response time - I've gotten a response email from him on Friday evening at 10 pm before.

Yea. We def left those on. Whatever the noise is, isn't a huge deal. I don't even think it was rpm dependant. Just random throughout the night and not even very frequent. One thing is for sure.... The car is actually quieter with resonated Hfc and FI 18 inch exhaust as opposed to just axle backs.

I don't think you will need the block off plate after a few days. I have one I could have given you. Sorry, but it just didn't work out for me to visit this last weekend.
New clutch? which one did you go with?

Just the RJM clutch pedal. And new shift knob?

They did not drop the transmission. I can only imagine the fit EW would have thrown :rofl2:
