Me and the wife have been talking about moving out to the southwest. Looking for a state with no taxes on retirement income. Not too hot, not too cold. Grass and trees. No emissions on vehicles and low yearly registration. Not based on value. Basically a Goldilocks zone.

LOL, All depends on what you call southwest. Texas fits the bill pretty close and NV has no income tax but do have emissions. AZ taxes are low registration can be high on new vehicle, no emissions outside of Maricopa and Pima counties. Prescott is ideal for weather.
