I hear you guys on the pay scale thing. The company I work for now is the first company that has not only 1) paid me more than I asked for and 2) given me yearly reviews and raises ranging from 8% - 10%. It's a smart move on their part. When recruiters contact me (and they do, often) it makes it fairly easy to say no. Unless they offer me a Quality Director position... that'd make me consider it.
