When I was dating my first wife, I was a pro canoe racer and I went so far as to measure the size of her hands on our first date to see how big they were for paddling.

Of course everyone knows what thy say about “big hands”....

Long story short, she measured up and we are still together...

Picture below is after a canoe race in September 1981 which was about 3 weeks into our “relationship”

(And I also still have those short pants if anyone is wondering)
