I need to start SUV shopping for my dad. I drove home last night after dinner with him because he driving is horrible. 2006 Acura MDX w/ 250k miles. His headlights are barely functional and his brights act like normal. Letting off the throttle makes the steering wheel kick hard to the right. I have MILES of travel in the wheel when going in a straight line. +/- 25 degrees in either direction. Rusted, white smoke, blah blah blah.

He is hell bent on another SUV because "they're easier to see far out of off" and "safer". Whatever, his money don't care. But the guy doesn't want a $500 payment and absolutely NEEDS AWD. It's maddening.

Hates the Crosstrek due to no power. Hates the Rav4 because it's to small. Hates the 4runner because it's to expensive. I mean, come on!

We went to go get my new ball. It was snowing, but roads were bare. He was going 20 under the limit and drifting between lines constantly. It was terrifying. I let him know how absolutely **** poor his driving was.

We got my ball and I drove us to dinner and back home. My god is his SUV a death waiting to happen.
