Easier than you think. Usually the hard stuff works fine and the simple things get glossed over. You work so long on the backend stuff that the simplistics get lost. I've done that a few times. Deploy a new laptop with sophisticated privileges for specific resources yet forget to add the damn email account.

Btw Jobe. Is coinbase safe? I'm tempted to buy a single litecoin and see how it does. It is as simple as just buying a coin and selling? I never delved much in to online trading for digital currency.

it is, i've been using it for almost a year now and everything is good for me with it. the only bad part is that it sometimes gets overloaded and you can't log in. when you first start it will limit how much you can spend. i believe you'll only be able to spend $150 a week at first. and yes, you just pretty much buy it and sell it and then transfer the money where you want to. i usually transfer it to my paypal.

Can I ask how much you've made off of it? And what do you primarily stick with? Lite, bit, ether? I know it's a gamble. But I wouldn't mind experimenting with a single coin and seeing how it does.

i doubled my money, but i was a moron and sold early. i bought litecoin when it was $35 and sold it once it got to $70 months ago. now litecoin is alomst $400 lol. i stayed with the little stuff i never invested in bitcoin but wish i did. i didn't want to gamble with too much money. i try to search for cheap ones that might have a chance to boom. go here https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ there's a ton of currency out there.

Tempted to try out Monero from another friends recommendation. I see litecoin is currently disabled from trading on coinbase.

i bought a litecoin on coinbase maybe 30 min ago. but there are many other ways you can buy.

Is it worth it to simply test the waters with $10? Or should I throw in minimum $100? My limit is $400 weekly. I've honestly never done any of this before. I'm scared. lol

when i first started i threw in $100. but you can start off with whatever you feel comfortable with. it's a gamble after all.

When do you feel is a good time to sell? How much should a price rise before you get weary of it? I'll throw $100 at ether since it looks to be climbing nicely. How much should I look for a rise in it before selling? Do things ever just tank drastically?

i wouldn't listen to me on when to sell cause i obviously dropped the ball with the litecoin... i could have made 10 times what i invested if i waited it out lol.

so far i haven't seen lite, ether, or bit fall drastically. they'll fall a little bit and then next day go back up.

i try to find penny ones that might have the potentially to go up. i buy $100 worth and forget about it. doing that you'll get a couple thousand shares, if it even goes up to $1 you'll be making a few thousand profit. that's what i'm doing. not sure how smart it is, but if it goes up i'll make good money :D

So you buy 1 of the 3 main coins and then covert to a smaller altcoin to purchases shares. Vice versa to sell I assume? Buy with coinbase and convert over at worldcoinindex? Do accounts link?
