Finding lodging and getting the time off would be a pain at this point.

The GF would want to come as well and couldn't get more than 2 days off. No vacation this year for her since she started a new job.

you can find lodging, people are always giving up there reservations. I see it all the time on the zdayz facebook page

really, all you need to take off is that friday.. and if she had weekends off, she'd be good to go..

I just can't this year. Spent to much already on parts. Next year is a certainty. I already have Madwi asking for reservations for next year when he goes.

I had it set aside to begin with. I just don't like to go over. I give myself a "fun" budget every year. Last year was taking the girlfriend to Disney. This year was car parts sicne GF has no vacation and I have tons of days to kill. Next year will be ZdayZ with a stop to OBX or something.

I only went over by $800 due to the tune. Wasn't really planning on it. But oh well. Not much more. A little overtime will chew through that bill quickly enough. Not a big deal.

Was just easier to spend this year due to no "real" vacations being planned. Sucks with the girlfriend only getting 1 week of vacation starting this November. Makes trips tricky.
