It's official. It is 27 degrees out currently. I watched a moostang enter a roundabout, break traction almost instantly due to freezing summer tires (frost still on rear windshield) and jump the curb.

$866 later.... Seb will officially be my tuner. Just ordered the kit and custom tune.

You won't regret it. With proper throttle control, it is a noticeably different driving experience. For the better :driving:

I'm going to get Seb to tweak my tune since I've added an exhaust and add the RaceROM features which weren't even available when I got my original tune.

Not too far from my house, some guy plowed into the back of several people at a stoplight exiting the highway and then proceeded to run from the scene and ended up driving straight through a roundabout jumping it Dukes of Hazard style. It's 70 degrees out.

I am looking at all the features now. I didn't know the racerom stuff is still relatively new. I am hyped to mess around with launch control (just for the cool sound it makes) and try FF shifting once before I never touch it again.

I am trying to figure out when I would actually use adjustable traction control. I need to study up on AFR since I have no clue what air/fuel numbers mean currently. Same goes for knock.

Wai. Launch control and other racerom features won't work on touring models? Only sport models?

Want to buy an innovate AFR gauge? it will plug right into the extra bung I had welded onto the FI HFCs you are buying...

Talk to seb - Ecutek thinks you need the sport model (SRM features) for this stuff but there is another thread somewhere about it, relatively recent. I think Seb turned all that stuff on anyway and it does indeed work...

I really shouldn't.... Mainly because idk what the numbers would even mean for air to fuel. Nor should I spend more money...

Yea. Browsed through all the topics on it. Apparently it works on base models. I'll reconfirm with Seb next month when I begin the project. I immediately questioned why SRM would be needed considering ECUTek does the same stuff for other sports cars without SRM qualities.

I've been in my 'new' house 4 weeks.....

So far, I've had to have the following done:

Reseal the master bath toilet. Previous owner tiled the bathroom and didn't extend the flange above the new floor level, so the toilet didn't seal to the wax ring. Water ran into the garage through a light fixture.:eek: I now have two holes in the garage ceiling I need to fix. :shakes head: Oh... and not covered by home warranty.....:gtfo2:

During this repair, bought a service plan from the company that provided the 'home warranty'...

They will do HVAC inspection and cleaning twice a year.....

Well, the HVAC system was 20 years old and has a cracked heat exchanger and the A-coil was completely plugged. :ugh2: New 2 stage HVAC system installed last Monday with WiFi enabled thermostat.

I've installed two new ceiling fans and new smoke detectors (thankfully the smoke detectors were easy, old ones were First Alert, and new ones are too)....

Only bad thing.... ALL my stuff is still in boxes.....:eekdance:

Sounds like you are having a blast. Enjoying the place overall?

It's pretty good. The roof and windows were replaced in October 2017, so with the HVAC replacement, all the big ticket stuff is done. We changed the color in a couple of rooms and the deck needs some work, but that's to be expected. I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment, the garage has a couple of paths through it, and while stuff gets put away, the number of boxes doesn't seem to decrease enough to make a noticeable dent. Both cars are outside and nasty thunderstorm weather is approaching.... :eekdance:

I am knee deep in a remodel project and it has been a frustrating, infuriating experience. I feel for you!
