So apparently the girlfriend is still without power due to stupidly high winds this afternoon. 9k without still. And we got a dusting of snow just like Madwi...

Just got a call from a coworker and he said to install Vmware NSX on my homelab and start learning as it will be great for my bottom line and the company. :rock:

Way better security measures. That's for sure. And being able to isolate individual nodes is phenomenal as well. Confuses the crap out of me. Lol

Have you messed with security onion? Looks really promising and has a bunch of stuff built in, like Snort.

Nope. Not at all. Been so buried, I haven't had a chance to do much studying on anything really. It's all a mess currently. Really want to get Cisco virtualized certified.
