I remember doing donuts in the snow when I lived up in Michigan...

Kinda fun if you had enough room... if you didn’t quite have enough room, well ... Whoops

Its so much fun with a beater. Use to drive a '79 Dodge Aspen that I bought for $10 in winter. What a blast! Hit a snow bank sideways at 25 mph? No problem!
Clip the light pole in the parking lot while doing donuts? Meh, just a scratch :icon17:

Lein, why would you have a beginning bowler use a fingertip ball?

While bowling is not usually a difficult sport to become competent at, it's frustrating when the ball doesn't go where you want it to... (gutter ball).

I was told that a finger-tip ball was more for accomplished bowlers and you would /could graduate to that after mastering the basics (approach, release, etc). Maybe I'm a little confused, it's been a while since I went bowling, but I had a 16lb Hammer and a 15 lb Beast I used, neither of which is a fingertip ball. Hell, I had a hard time breaking 160.... :eekdance:

It was just the way I was taught. I had her learn a basic 4 step approach. We are working on rotations now and sliding properly. She was adament on me teaching her how to bowl and hook a ball. So I got her a medium/dry ball with a little potential and got her a fingertip grip. She hasn't complained at all. Just throwing your typical backup ball for someone who is new to the grip. We will work that out this weekend. I figured it would be easier having her just use fingertip now and get use to it instead of going conventional and then switching over later.

Anyone want to teach me how to make a budget from scratch for anything IT related? I seriously don't get paid enough for this...

The Secretary of State near my house is so efficient. I was in and out in under 17 minutes. Registered 2 cars and renewed my drivers license. I'm a lot lighter in the wallet now though. :(
