It is confusing to say the least. I’m not even sure if all LEO’s in various states understand it all the same way...

Hola folks! Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.

I got in the Christmas spirit Saturday and decided to decorate outside for the first time since buying the house 7 years ago. :)

Leingod 11-27-2017 03:12 PM

Purchased another Echo for home. Should have arrived today. More multi room audio for the household!

I haven't stayed current but does amazon allow multi room using bluetooth yet?

Most LEO's have no clue as to which states they are to honor. We travel around the country with the motorhome. Before we leave on a trip. We always check which states honors our's. Illinois honors no one. If going through that state. Be on your toes if you're carrying. In the motorhome. I pack an AR15 too. Have to watch what states you go through with that, and 30 round mags. Any semi-auto rifle with a 10 plus round mags can get you in deep do-do faster then you can think.

Try crossing into Canada and forget that you have the AR15. Just glad that they didn't search the motorhome.

I'm well concealed, so I just carry it pretty much everywhere. Then again, in GA there isn't many places you can't carry.

The guys at the border certainly have a lot more authority than local LEOs or State Toopers and they have zero sense of humor as well. Glad you didnt get caught crossing dirty or you might still be hanging out in the sore butt hotel... yee-haw...

Back in the day when we crossed into Windsor, Ca. we barely talked with the border guards. Most I have ever heard was "American?" and "Anything to declare?" and then they gave you the get out of here thumb. Often times, bright and early morning, them mofos would stare you down and just tell you to hurry up and go on. :icon17:

For a short period in the late 70’s, I worked in Sarnia but lived in Michigan. Having to cross twice each day led me to more than once being questioned down. Once my car got partially dismantled in an effort to find nothing. Another time I got to sit naked on a bench after a strip search.

However, on the plus side, that is when I first learned to speak Canadian....
EH !!!

Used to do road jobs in the Buffalo, Niagara Falls area. We would cross over into Canada. The first 2 places we would go to was the Mints and the Sundowner. Great times in the Sundowner.

Yeah, the gravy is good, that cheese curds has to go. I had this last month when we stayed in Niagara Falls. I ate the fries that just had the gravy on them.
