Got scared of the idea of what would ever happen if the car caught on fire at the track. Simple Solution, keep myself from burning alive. Picked up a Sabelt Fire Suit. Gloves, and Boots are still on route to me.

Just curious. To me, this would be a form of PTSD. I was listening to music this morning and a specific song came on that instantly made me start sweating and I got that ghost feeling in my back like I was lifting hundreds of pounds. All due to a previous job I had. Not mentally jarring or freaking out. But a bad overall gut feeling and remembrance of a bad job.

Would this be a very mild form of PTSD? I can't think of any words it would lead me to think of having. Just curious.

Probably more like classical conditioning. But to be fair, that's well within the same family.

Thank you. Just fighting with a family member currently who thinks PTSD or any variance can only be had when something is physically traumatizing.

My word of advice. Don't be a 130 pound stagehand for a company that doesn't even care about workers safety.

Just based on your limited remarks, you probably don't meet all the criteria for PTSD; however, classical conditioning is basically a descriptor of the precursor conditions necessary to develop PTSD, and you've clearly got a few of those. Unpleasant or dangerous situation (your work environment) leading to generalized anxiety when a stimulant is present (that music) that brings back the memories of that time.

Guess I needed a few more years to really get it. Very happy I found a different line of work. Those were dark years of multi day torture. And it's just that song that brings back the bad moments. I can talk and joke about the old stuff we did without issue. But man, that song was played every time we were running thousands of feet of socopex cable.

I spend a lot of time just screwing around, so it's hard to argue my time is worth too much when I waste it so often. But easing my mental and physical anguish is definitely worth a lot to me. And the more money I make, the more I'm willing to spend on that front.

Turned out to be a 3/4" line that failed. New line is routed to the half bath and getting hooked up as I type this. It was only routed to the half bath halfway across the house, so that is good. Hopefully we don't find any other problems - current tab is only $2250

I got a survey from Nissan the other day. I took me nearly an hour to complete it because they wanted detailed information about the 17 issues that I noted in the initial run through

I detailed my experiences with the ESCL, CMC, CSC, 5th gear synchro, rear axle click, thin paint, steering rack, airbag failures, and more. One of the last questions was would you buy the car again? I answered Most Definitely Yes. Then I proceeded to acknowledge that I was well aware of pretty much every issue encountered (thanks to this forum!), and what was most disappointing was Nissan's willingness to immediately deny every possible claim in order to maintain their bottom line. I even called them "greedy bastards". And yes, I gave my name and contact information - I'm guessing they won't contact me

Why are the curtains closed in the background? Is that so the neighbors don't see you? Do you run around the neighborhood at night scaring people like a scarier clown?

I have 2 songs that will transport me to the late '70's. And it was scarily times for me. I can talk about what happen with no problems, and it does't bother me. Hear one of those songs. Flashback.
