When I was working at the power plant. We worked a 12 hr shift. 6:30 to 6:30. You was on for 1 month of daylight, then switched to 1 month of night. Loved working nights. Only 3 of us there, no management. And I was the guy in charge. The CRO, The designated felon. If anything happened on my shift. I was the one going to jail along with the plant manager. :rofl2: No pressure.

98% of CRO's have heart problems.

It is only me, myself and I at night and it is wonderful. I can get my **** done the correct way and not have to listen to anyone bitch and moan.

That's the way it was at the plant on nights. You got your stuff done. That took anywhere from 4 to 8 hrs. When you got done. You surfed the net, washed your vehicle, maintenance on it, napped, your projects, what we called gov't jobs. On daylight. Too many stuffed shirts. Always asking for you to do this, do that. Hard time trying to get your own stuff done. Too many chiefs, and too few indians. :shakes head:

It was the same way in the machine shop. Set up the machine to run for a few hours of cycle time and pull the car into one of the truck bays and give 'er a wash.

Rusty 03-28-2018 05:50 AM

I miss those days. :rofl2: Getting paid to do your own thing.

Should I sell my Tesla stock now and lose some money or wait until it's worth nothing and lose more? Lol

Drove the Z to work... "Spiritedly"...

I forgot how much fun my commute road is when theres no traffic, constant sweepers at 100+ makes for a fun way to wake up, and get ready for the terrible work day ahead of me.

I did the same :)

Tight, windy route here instead of big sweepers. But it is nasty and rainy and the drive uphill on FM 2222 was quite challenging

I drove my rented Maxima from Fayetteville to Springdale AR in a highly spirited fashion today.

I have a sign in the rear window that says "Caution: Rental Car With Prepaid Insurance".

IDK about it being a Michigan thing but it always has been a great idea to keep work out of your social media.

Not saying this is what you did but I tend to find products are hard to remove if you use too much at once.

madwi 03-28-2018 05:44 PM

I guess I have to wait until the weekend to order clutch stuff. Tried to buy it on Zspeed website and it wont let me pay with paypal or credit card. :icon14:
