Yea, we got rain coming tonight with thunder.

It's going to be between 40 and 50 for the next couple of days. All the snow in melted. The ground is still frozen. And the river is running high.

Rained all day and melted almost all the snow. We have a roller coaster for temps coming up this week.

It was beautiful today. I was supposed to go down to the Guadalupe River and do some trout fishing below the Canyon Lake Dam. Instead, I spent the day trying to figure out where the leak was before I finally just had to call a plumber. Tomorrow we'll do some more diagnosing to figure out exactly what line is leaking and what fixtures need rerouted lines for the repair. This should be expensive

Good news is the leak is slow enough that it is no problem to turn on/off the water at the street as needed for showers and dishes and the like

I am always happy to look for and find the good in life.

When the glass gets half empty, I just chug it and refill it as fast as possible. Like today when I figured out how bad it was, I just got in the Z and drove around. It was cathartic even at idle

And I decided to let someone else handle most of the work now, so I don't have to screw with it myself. It'll get done soon and I'll feel better about the house again despite the missing funds and the glass will be full again

In the end, it is only money, you will make more.

Sometimes I just have to believe that myself and move on, even though the wallet cries. I try to look at it like I am paying a pro the premium but my time and suffering will be minimal, that is worth a lot to me.
