Greetings from the Costco Fremont Poultry Complex project in Fremont, NE.

Solution and integration mapping is afoot...

Cry havoc!!! ...and let slip the dogs of war.

Blood and destruction shall be so in use, and dreadful objects so familiar, that mothers shall but smile as they behold their children quartered by hands of war!

War is not an independent phenomenon, but the continuation of politics by different means.

-- Carl von Clausewitz

All I saw was the word Costco and now I want a whole chicken for $5 :yum:

von Clausewitz was a sharp guy, very able to notice the shape of things to come.

My recollection of noteworthy Sun Tzu quotes has unfortunately faded over time. I'd have to consult the google as a refresher, which seems unfair. I recall the principles though - always meeting the enemy on your own terms, and always leaving your enemy a way out (I actually employ this when I meet with my staff in confronting an unfortunate or counter productive behavior. Never destroy a man's pride - once you've done that, you can never be truly friendly again.)

Finally started to work on the Z. Started with the hatch to get all the defects out. Time consuming. Luckily didn’t have to clay much at all. Used Adams heavy compound, correcting compound and finishing polish, with the matching Adams pads. The coumpounds don’t work well in colder weather, but the polish held up nicely with a good working time. Followed up the polish with carpro eraser and then Adams paint sealant (I know madwi, I know)

BoneZ 03-21-2018 02:28 PM

Mmmmmmm... must get sammich.

Now I did do this at night using the outside lights around me and my work lights. I took my time making sure I could get every swirl and scratch. Did I miss some? Probably. I did see some small specs while inspecting, but wasn’t to worried about them since this was my first shot at it and I didn’t have a more aggressive compound. Under the spoiler was tricky, so I couldn’t get much of that, would have preferred to remove it, but since I couldn’t I’ll live with it. Now granted I am anal about paint perfection, but I’m not going to let it get to me...........for know. Damn, wish I had a garage.

killrain 03-21-2018 02:39 PM

Be nice if I could work in the HEB parking lot with all those lights. Man do they show all the imperfections in the paint!!! Also all this bloody pollen didn’t help with paint correction. Had to keep wiping it off. Have tree around me that produce waaaaaaaaay to much pollen. Car goes from white to yellow.

Cash is in the mail. Don't hold your breath though. I just guessed at the mailing address. Best of luck!

Honda generator. Quiet, efficient and more than enough to power your polisher and extra lights.

Thought I was done with the snow blower for the season. Guess not. :icon14: Our 8" of snow turned into 3" of slush. :shakes head: Went though tank and a half of fuel. :icon14: It's going to be bad tonight when it freezes.

I know there's a joke somewhere about a single drumstick and thigh hanging around.

Spoiler 03-21-2018 08:47 PM

Well after so much fun messing around poor Zorens tire sale thread today, I have to be out for a few days on a ride down to FL

Do not let him talk to bad about me in my absence...
