Best years of your life

What were the best years of your life (so far)? Why? Or do you think they are yet to come? I just want to think what people (young and old) think about when is the best time to live.

I voted college. Even though I'm pretty much always broke, and I'm drowning in schoolwork most of the time, some of the best memories I have are from these last 4 years. Good times...

Highschool, hardly any responibility, the girls were great and most of all I still had hair. Ah those were the days.

nevermind

20-40 years without a doubt.

I got a bachelor's degree, got married, got a great job, made a difference (IMHO) in a lot of lives, traveled the world, started a family, got another great job, got in great physical shape several times, met a lot of great people personally and professionally, and feel like I'm still going strong and have many more good years to go.

BTW, I just turned 40.

I'm loving the first six years of 20-40.

It's great to be here. It's great to be anywhere.

Wtf? How?

I voted college even though technically the best years of my life were probably from 18 to 25.

StLRedrider 12-13-2009 10:59 PM

same here, teens and early 20's were the best for me!!!!

I'm 26, so it's hard to say so far. While highschool had it's perks, it didn't come anywhere close to providing me with the same sense of accomplishment and success that my 20's has given me.

With my investments and future family plans though, I hope 40+ gives me a good retirement and great family...so I look forward to that even more!

In my specific case, it's been a totally good life; first off, 'cause of my parents (loving, non-abusive, responsible, great role models, etc.). Then, I join the Air Force in the Viet Nam Era, but I spend 3 of the 4 years in Panama, great people, great food, great girls! My last year in the A.F., at San Anton', TX, another great place!. I'm discharged from the A.F. to go to college..."Fun, fun, fun", as The Beach Boys would put it! Then, I meet this girl who's now been my wife for thirt-five years! Cute, clean, g-r-e-a-t cook, great sense of humor...Really, guys, it's hard to pin-point a "best" time in my life, 'cause God's been so good to me! I did pick "Between 20 and 40".

this! along with getting your own car. nothing like having no real responsibilities and knowing your parent/s will be able to bail you out of any kind of trouble. school was also easy
