Its looking like it'd take a good 30 minutes to drain the oil pain with the fumoto...

You are correct. I usually just let it drain while I detail the car, work on other things, or drink a beer instead of laying on the ground for 10 minutes waiting for it to fully drain.

I just like them because I don't have the oil bolt shoot off when loosening it and don't have to mess with crush washers anymore.

Yeah, I'll like the fact that when I get the bolt completely out the bolt's magnetic end wont get stuck at the bottom or the side of the drain causing the oil to go wherever it wants...

let me tell y'all about the one time, I was doing an oil change and I forgot to open the oil pan so it'd drain into it.. and guess what happened? luckily, I didnt have a disaster to where it spilled all over the place but boy oh boy was that oil hot..
