Firestone or dealership.

kenchan 04-25-2017 10:17 PM

kinda weird how i did the GTI's lowering springs and the alignment was only barely off.. dropped a good inch or so.. german engineering i suppose.

dem germans arent good with electronics (aka steering lock on 370Z :ugh2:) but dey are good with mechanical stuff.

My first job in a machine shop and my boss was this grumpy old German guy with a thick accent. he handed me two chunks of steel and said, "go make me some 1,2,3 blocks within' .001 // and be thankful I dont make you do it with a hacksaw and files."

Car is still on stands in the garage :icon17: So much to do, so little time!

kenchan 04-25-2017 10:22 PM

GTI's DSG.. i learned to like it for da commute. AT's are too faking  boring for any real driving in my area, but at least it makes for a fun commute in traffic.

Morning guys.

Got to see Neil deGrasse Tyson last night!! Within a year, I have gone to see 2 of my favorite childhood scientists. Bill Nye and now Neil. Really insightful knowledge about the universe.
