If I do get my Nismo wheels, should I leave them black (guy had them painted) or go for a different color? Pearl white here.

killrain 05-22-2017 07:03 PM

Polished bronze maybe? Or just gunmetal with flakes? Im not a big fan the black look, it doesnt allow the design to show and its overdone (imo).

Nothing wrong with donuts, it is the act of having to be at work making them that I like to complain about.

I'd leave them but I like black wheels.

madwi 05-22-2017 07:12 PM

Factory wheels back on so it can go for alignment at the end of the week.

You got me wicked excited, but they're the short ones. I love the design where they are on that spoke thing raising them.

The ones for sale are the good ones, not the long armed locking ones :icon23:

Yea. I want the long arm ones with the lock on top. I think JAR has them.

May order these and take another shot in the dark...

why put back stock wheels for alignment? So the others don't get damaged?

Do some searching and see if they will fit properly. I think the Evo-r ones need the front rock guard thingy in place. I wanna say they are a touch shorter than say the fujimura
blades. Plus giving money to evor is a whole 'nother story.
*looking at the pics they seem to cover the whole distance now, maybe*

Just going off of the photos they have, they look full length without the front rock guards. And they're plastic, so they will take a beating longer than fiberglass or CF. hahahaha.

I still plan to wrap the front lip and whatever else in CF vinyl this season. Some 3M stuff or something that I can't mess up.

for a few bucks more you can order the frp version of fujimura, and you will know they fit. :)

I just quoted out all 3 options from japanparts and they were all almost as much as the blades themselves.

Where and how did you get $90?? And what form of shipping? I'm never dealing with seaport stuff again. lol

That was to your door. dont select the seaport or airport option. Those options usually have their own fees associated with them and are due at time of pickup.

I'm still getting $190 as the cheapest with no airport or seaport selected. Coming out to $500. I'd get the CF blades for the extra $30 cost difference lol.

:icon14: I chose NY as the shipping state too, no idea why it is coming up with that for you.

Weird lol. Cheapest I could get was choosing Buffalo (3 hrs away) for airport pickup. It came out to $133. $458 for everything.

madwi 05-22-2017 08:38 PM

Odd, it jumped to $112 since last time I checked. :icon14:

Cheapest I could get it. Just not worth the shipping I think. I'd honestly worry about shattering them or scratching them more.

I meant from driving around. NY roads suck as is. I'd honestly feel bad ruining craftsman ship like that.

I'll keep track of prices and grab the CF Fuji's if shipping goes down a little or the yen decides to sink even more.

Leingod 05-22-2017 08:51 PM

For now, it's time for bed. May reach out to Tarmak based in the UK regarding side diffusers they sell as well. Or see if anyone makes knockoff INGS blades. Match the front lip lol.

I know I bought mine when the Yen was going down so that helped out a lot. I want to say I was all in for the CF for $400ish
