Around here, a full bumper cover respray at a bodyshop is $400-$600. Dealership body work is expected to be 2x-3x more.

I picked up a spare rear bumper for free on craigslist not long ago... I am going to attempt DIY shaving the emblem and respraying with automotive touchup and 2k clear spray cans. If it all fails ill probably just lose $100 and a weekend.

2k is great clear. I shot my hood in it and haven't got any stone chips or anything on it since. Cures hard as heck. Well worth it.

Quote done. A full respray with a few extra coats so nothing chips as easily as the oem paint, and he will also shave/fill the rear emblem logo. $550. Not bad at all I would think. Only bad news is he is booked until Oct. So my appointment is Oct 2nd.

Just have to play the waiting game now. haha. Apparently the guy is very reputable to be booked that far ahead. I may need one of you guys to send me measurments of the 370z emblems on the left side of the rear.

The paint guy needs to remove them and isn't sure they will stick back on. SO I told him to just leave them off and I will order a new set to put on myself.

I have a big scrape on the rear bumper so getting it resprayed and the emblem shaved will probably happen next spring-ish. Not in a hurry to get it down though.
