Hello everyone! More rain today. It's never ending.
|
Anyone here have any experience selling a car to carmax with a lightly modded car? I'm assuming they completely lowball you since they only want stock cars on their lot

I wouldnt even do that, I'll take them for a ride.. they can poke and prod all they want, but no test drives until i've switched over the titles. |
If the guy seems legit I'll ride with him, but no way in hell I'm letting it go without my supervision.

Rep with gusto. |
So the issue is def with the headlight housing. When I took out the bolts supporting it to move it around, I could greatly fill the gap between the hood and light. But the moment I put everything and together, the gap is their. I have no way to tighten these headlight bolts anymore without risk of damaging them.
So is it a body issue at this point?? |
Hail, all you sexy sexy painus people.

Very reputable dealership I bought it from and running reports on it showed no damage. I may run a Carfax tonight though. I know accidents can take years to show up after the fact. |

SO I ended up using another nut and bolt on the last pop clip on the left side headlight housing to better align it closer to the hood. I can't find a place to shift the top of the housing closer though... At least it ALMOST looks uniform now.
As for the right side of the bumper sagging next to the right headlight. I can't figure out what else to do. Nothing will align with it properly. All clips and screws are properly in place. It's way less noticeable than yesterday, but I'll still think about it. I'm happy for now at least. Way more successful day compared to yesterday. http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...pskrggtrqz.jpg http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...psxeizwwl9.jpg http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...psy9lc3wwb.jpg |
