Our DC **** the bed yesterday morning. Spent all day fixing that so people had email capabilities again. When it crashed, it killed everyones Office password accounts. And today i just wrote my first capital expense for the purchase of new RF guns. Couple tens of thousands of dollars in my control is never a good thing.....

Let them know that for 4 times that salary you might consider a help desk job.

I would accept what I am making now under the pretense that I no longer have to do the work of 5 others. Where have you ever heard of a single IT guy handling 300 users, all servers, all upgrades, software deployments, financial management for hardware, camera security, and vendor support for software?
