I just looked at him and thought, "Suck it".

I'll agree with that. I work at a parts store and some of the idiots that work at them.... holy crap...

Sometimes it's a tie between who is dumber... the customer or the idiot trying to sell him parts... :wtf2:

Here is a perfect example as to why you NEVER piss off the SINGLE I.T. guy at work!! I've already been scowering all of our security cameras and access card info to find out who this was. I had to get in through the passenger side last night because it was less than a foot of distance between my door and his rear fender. Beyond pissed was an understatement.

Maybe they didn't want anyone throwing stuff through your open window.

Ghostvette 07-20-2017 08:10 AM

At the store I work at we have a driver that acts just like Billy Bob Thornton's character in Slingblade. He's not mechanically inclined, he's blown up every car he's owned... you get the picture.

When ever he is helping a customer by looking up parts, I make sure to drift over to make sure things go right.

Another guy is supposed to be the 'parts pro', whatever that is supposed to mean. He's another one that is only about 3 steps above the driver in intelligence. This moron helped the driver 'fix' his car. The driver had said his car was losing coolant and was overheating. The 'parts pro' says, you have a bad head gasket, and dumped 3/4 of a bottle of stop leak in it. Well, needless to say, the engine went boom. The 'pro' did no troubleshooting, didn't pressure check the system looking for leaks, didn't pressure check the cap (the cause of 90% of missing coolant), he just dumped in a PARTIAL bottle of stop leak. (I really wish we didn't sell that sh!t... all it does is screw up engines.) I heard that the driver had blown up his car and I asked what happened. Then I asked the driver if he had seen any smoke from the tail pipe, smelled the sweet smell of burning antifreeze, etc. No to all questions. According to the 'pro', he owns some 12 second Pontiac Firebird that he drag races, but I can't find a video of him racing anywhere. So I call 'bs' on his whole 'racing experience'.

Douche that parked like that was a temp. He now no longer works here. He had no excuse when his boss asked him why he parked in a reserved spot or why he didn't even out his suv after pulling in.

I'd have let the air out of his tires. It's not vandalism if there's no permanent damage

Takes to long. I just have a valve stem puller in my glove box.

or place pebbles in the caps and screw them on just enough that it slowly lets air out of the tires.

At least your car wasn't damaged.

Side note though, looks to be decent space to still get in. About the same as when I use to hug the side of my garage with the Z. Why did you have to go through the passenger side? Do you have a massive belly or something?

The angle of the photo doesn't help much. His rear panel was at an angle that didn't allow my door to open more than a foot from the back end. Just trying to walk between both cars starting at the rear forced me to turn sideways.

Any folks here have experience with the 335i, specifically the N54 (TT) version? Local guy is selling a very clean 2009 optioned exactly how I like it. Sedan, RWD, Auto, Sport/premium/cold package with Navi in Blue. Doesn't have the M-sport package but that's all appearance anyhow. Of course he wants a premium for his car as it's "rare". Seems like these cars are pretty solid, sans the High pressure fuel pump.

Not exactly what I was in the market for but for under $20k, it's tempting to buy, throw on the JB4 tune and have some fun with 400whp. Wouldn't feel bad if anything happened either.

Sucks. Is it a packed lot? Maybe try and get an end spot to minimize risks?

I'm stuck in reserved parking due to being important..... The spot this guy parked in is also reserved but nobody uses it yet. So i get random people every day next to me. the lot isn't packed. Plenty of spots left. i'd be the one getting in teouble if I moved.

Really?! You have to park there? That sucks. hopefully no incidents

b15 07-20-2017 12:57 PM

side note, office reserved parking always reminds me of office space. :rofl2:
