swapped my wife's fit wheels to factory, washed the snows for storage, washed her car, washed my GTI. it was a full am.. now relaxing in my music room while i LGSST da mf.

The plastic gets brittle and breaks, all the damn time.

I assume you are referring to the plastic retainers for the wheels on the top rack? If so, then nope. This one has a newer design with bearings. Smoothest, sturdiest top rack I've ever seen. Even fully loaded it's supposed to feel really sturdy

I got to fly with my buddy Monte on his last business flight -- he has started his own business and won't be flying much anymore.

Here we are in Salt Lake City in the Sky Club...
