I was looking at CF hoods over the winter, and the $900ish for full CF wasn't terrible, but add $375 shipping quote on top of in then exchange rate, cusomts etc and it would have been damn close to 2k for a hood. Out of my league/budget for what it is by a good margin.

So I bought a used stock hood and cut some holes in it for venting heat out. Total cost with paint like $120
