pulling out my drill in 60.. going to pre drill a few holes on da GTI's lip for da install maybe later today if it dries up.

i suppose i could use rivets on 3 spots in da front.. this way i will not need to remove the bumper as i wont need to gain access to tighten my nuts.

k, got dat lip prepped for install.

pm is going to be dry so by 5pm my GTI will be officially complete

my kid said he wants to help out for tips.

too bad he's not into cars.. cause he could learn so much from all dese weekend projects i do.

ate space food. well not sure if similar but it's a chicken pasta dat i just take out of da box and eat. no heating required.. = astronaut food.

I'm in Moscow now. Just visited red square at night and it's bootyful with all the lights and snow flurries here

finished installing the lip on da GTI. looks great.

my kids helped out.

it started raining during mid-install for a few min but it was before i peeled back da VHB liner so no issue. used 11 screws and 3 rivets plus da tape. da whole bumper will come off before it gets sheared off.
