Yay! Get to leave work at 2:30 today. Get 9 holes in and then run to Costco for the GF to get her allergy meds.

NY State Fair tomorrow. I'll post photos of all the deep fried foods and wine slushies I consume. Current list is:

Blooming onion

2x corn dogs
This amazing gyro stand I find each year

My wife and I attend the Texas vs OU football game every year. It is held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas smack dab in the middle of the Texas State Fair. It is something I look forward to every year because we always have a great time regardless of the game outcome or the weather

50/50 beef bacon patty wrapped around bacon with 2 sausage patties stacked followed by another wrapping of bacon with bbq sauce and all stuffed between 2 bacon brioche buns then deep fried

They will deep fry absolutely anything at the Texas State Fair

Here are the newest creations from recent years. If the new items sell well, they are often brought back as a standard offering in following years
