just got home from surgery
 

I just got home yesterday from emergency gallbladder surgery. I drove myself in the nismo to the emergency room. I spent 2 days there.
You guys would have got a kick out of seeing me try to get back in the Z!
It literally took me 10 minutes! My abdominal area was so sore, my normal way to get in was impossible, i always get in without falling in to save my seat bolsters, I had to first sit down on the rocker panels ,then slide up into the seat , finally made it in.
The show was only half over, getting out was an adventure too! Someone came over finaly to help me out! Im doing okay today ,resting :)

And be thankful you didn't have to go through that surgery the old-fashioned way that they were doing it just a couple of decades ago!

Must have been a really bad gallbladder. Usually it's an outpatient operation. Glad you're doing OK.

I didn't have any appointment so is wasn't an outpatient deal,It wasn't til the next morning I had it done. I had some minor complication ,so they kept me overnight again.

Sorry to hear but welcome back !! I bet ur new cat missed u too while in the hospital. Quick recovery!:D

Nah, I mean usually you come in in the morning, get your gallbladder out, and go home the same day....outpatient surgery. Two-day stays are unusual unless it's badly infected or there are stones that got out of the gallbladder. Or complications I guess. If you come in with an infected gallbladder, sometimes they'll put you in to get you stabilized for surgery the next day.
