They are letting the marketing girl go who has been here a year. She got hired since the marketing guy got a promotion to manager. They needed someone to tackle his workload.

So now it's just him for marketing. He isn't sure how he will take time off, finish his new work plus old, or when they might supplement his stuff with others. I really don't think place is thinking about long term consequences while they figure out the short term budget right now.

That's what the issue is with me. They pay me decently enough. What's to say they fire me for a cheap temp or lowly college kid for $8 an hr. They won't give a shyt about my knowledge in security until they get a cryptolocker virus because the temp didn't keep the servers up to date or something stupid.
