Just for now. My boss can handle all the tickets, but is out due to a passing in his family. So i am safe for now. But word is spreading of more layoffs after memorial day. Oh well. We shall see what comes my way by June. As for now, I just have to make it through today. Then I can start the weekend with some proper beers. Tomorrow will be a nice relaxing morning staring at the Z while at the coffee shop outside, and going to a food truck rodeo in the evening with 40+ beer samples to taste test. Hoping to get some golf or detailing the Z on Sunday.

And if I do end up not having a job soon, it might just be the finally kick in the arse needed to leave NY. I'm not loosing the Z!!

The Portuguese are taking over here slowly. Let's fire 20+ people, but hire 3 more straight-from-Portugal people who can hardly speak English. So I wouldn't say I'd be shocked.

Just let me upgrade my damn poor servers, mess around with my scripts, yell at my AD for disabling a password, and blacklist more I.P.s attacking a new honeypot I set up.

A company will only realize how crucial I.T. is once they're already gone. Especially when only 2 people in the company know how to run very specific and custom built software.

It is hard to keep a properly tucked shirt though when you're in waist-high dress pants while entering and exiting a lowered Z.

lol... corporations only care about making money. so if you make $20 an hour and they can fire you and hire two people for $10 an hour they will do that. they don't care about morals.... i work for a multi multi multi multi billion dollar corporation. if you think that's bad, you would crap yourself here lol
