I made it home in time to say goodbye to a good man. My former father-in-law (Colin and Taylor's grand-dad) has but a few days left on this earth. He was not supposed to make it through Wednesday night and I feel blessed to have been able to visit him today to tell him how much he meant to me.

I am also happy he did not follow through with his promise to shoot me back in 1994 when I broke up with his daughter.
