Well I just finished the game...and boy does it have soooo many twists....

yeah i finished it about an hour ago... it left alot of things unanswered and there are a few points i dont really get

like

"were the russians really attacking the US or was that shepards shadow company along with them?... and was shepard and markov working together starting with the airport attack and frame or did he just see an oppurtunity to make a move during all the chaos( like liquid ocelot in MGS) and WTF happened to markov and how would they even prove shepards plan? did price launch the nuke because he knew it would be shot down but the emp would still take out the russian forces attacking DC? "

it was a good game especially the ending fight but could have used a cinematic cut scene at the end to sum it all up

I guess that they could have worked together, you remember at the beginning of the airport where markov said "no russian":icon08:. I'm guessing shepard told him about the undercover operative, told him to shoot him so it looks like americans attacked russian civies. As for russia attacking america, it could go both ways, maybe russian actually attacked, or maybe marko was able to snatch alot of russian hardware. I seriously though price turned traitor when he launched that nuke.... As far as proving it, maybe the stuff that you had to DL had some trails leading back to shepard. Seriously when markov shot me I was like WTF!!!!:shakes head:.....then when shepard shot me I was like WTFMF!!!!!!:eek:......then when they burnt me I was like..... OMG MF WTFH GD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................:roflpuke2: Also remember marko knew where shepard was hiding so that could have been a clue.....oh and when he pwnd me with the knife I was like NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO:eekdance:........

For those of you who have not bought it yet.. here is my review.. take it or leave at at will.

Single player: Very solid... Graphics are amazing, you can "feel" the chaos", and its enough of a challenge to make it entertaining. Its a little short... but it was to be expected.

Multi Player: Definitely not COD4. COD4 set a standard and this falls a little short. The game play is solid, but the hit pixels, are larger, meaning you can really suck and still get kills.

Weapons are great, much more variety, perk system is greatly improved, and there as so many ways to create a custom class it makes it great. So the variety is there, which is a plus. Sniper riffles are down to only 4, thank god.... But campers are still present. A lot more camping than in COD4, but then again the game is new... wait till the noobs weave out.

Annoyances: every time you do a level or anything really you get a new title and logo thing... which gets annoying. Just give me some and let it be.

Mpas: are incredible... complex, full of walk in places, some are huge, some not... I am sad not to see any of the COD4 maps in there... but i can understand its a new game.

The point system is a little too giving for my taste.... you get so much XP for doing anything that its insane... I like leveling fast, but because of kills, not because of anything.


Overall... if you just want to do the single player go rent the game.. its not worth to buy.. if you want online, pay the $60, its worth it.

I'm battling through it right now... Lovin it. The plot is entertaining, I just got chumped by you know who (for those who've played that level so far).

Single player seems to be a bit to easy even on veteran...not really a fan of the multiply maps right now, maybe its jsut because I dont know them yet and Im getting owned.

I just recently finished world at war single player so maybe thats why it seems easy. I had yet to find a game that compares to world at wars difficulty on the hardest setting.

I still havent even touched the single player missions. So addicted to the multiplayer.

You my friend are insane lol. I rolled through on my first try on veteran and I was dieing so much that my friend and I decided to make a drinking game of it. Every 25 times I died he had to take a shot. He took 6, and I was on the third 2 last level when we started and we played it till the end. Imo Yahtzee sumed it up best, go check out his review.

HOWEVER all the dieing aside single player was amazing but as stated previously online definitely lost its pizazz, infact id even go so far as to say Socom has a better online now then COD.

Love the game, i never played cod4. I played all the other CoDs.
Yes its got its problems. (Lack of dedicated servers, duel wielding Model 1887 shotguns and hackers) but i can't get enough of it.

Loving the MP maps, yes some are sniper playgrounds but it's very rare a sniper will be higher then me on the final score board.

When it starts getting patched hopefully they will resolve the issues. Till then i'll keep playing.
