LookOut (security and antivirus)
TasKiller (force closes any open programs, can help speed up the phone)
Live Scores (until ESPN has a good stats app, this one works fine)

Shazam (iD's songs by "sampling" them, impressive)
Key Ring (you can scan all your store cards, etc into your phone and display them there instead of keeping them on your keyring)
EasyTether (backup internet access for your laptop)

RadarNow (local radar by GPS location)
Ringdroid (lets you convert your own mp3's into custom ringtones)

yea i forgot about spirit level. i use that one all the time in the warehouse when i don't have a real level with me and need to check a crane. works really well

Software Schedule:

Below is the software-upgrade notification schedule (All times listed are Eastern Time.):

At noon on 3/18, 1,000 users will receive notification of the update.
At 11:59 PM on 3/18, 9,000 more users will receive the update notification.
After the first 10,000 users receive the update on 3/18, there will be a 24-hour period when no additional upgrades will be delivered.
On Day 3 (3/20), 200,000 users will receive the update notification at 11:59 PM. This schedule will continue each day thereafter until the update has been delivered to all users.

Yeah it sucks, and I will be at the end of the line.

Though I have been reading and it seems that a few hours after the update is released we can just download the official one from "unofficial" places and it is the same. Not sure on this 100% as this is my first go around with Android, but if true I might do this so I do not have to wait.

BTW, thats what I did for 2.0.1 - got tired of waiting, and I downloaded the update from an unofficial source. It worked like a champ.

Yeah, saw that last night, one reason I am looking for 2.1 so I can just update myself since I was near 1 million.

Yeah, it is going to take at least 5 groups to get through all the droid users, which for each group is a few days.
